Raja Empat Beach is part of a series of islands located in the western part of the island of Papua. This island is often a destination for divers because of the beauty of its underwater scenery. Administratively, this group is under the Raja Ampat Regency, West Papua Province. The four island groups that are members are named after the four largest islands, namely Waigeo Island, Misool Island, Salawati Island, and Batanta Island.

3. Gili Trawangan Beach, NTB

Gili Trawangan is the largest of the three small islands or dyke in the northwest of Lombok. Trawangan is also the only dyke whose height above sea level is quite significant. With a length of 3 km and a width of 2 km, Trawangan has a population of about 800 people. Among the three dykes, Trawangan has the most diverse facilities for tourists; the tavern “Tîr na Nôg” claims that Trawangan is the smallest island in the world with an Irish bar. The most densely populated part is the east of the island.

Trawangan has a more “party” feel than Gili Meno and Gili Air, because of the many all-night parties whose events are rotated every night by several crowded places. Popular activities for tourists to do in Trawangan are scuba diving (with PADI certification), snorkeling (on the northeast coast), kayaking and surfing. There are also several places for tourists to learn to ride around the island.

On Gili Trawangan (as well as on the other two dyke), there are no motorized vehicles, as this is not permitted by local regulations. The usual means of transportation are bicycles (rented by local people for tourists) and cidomo, a simple horse-drawn carriage that is common in Lombok. To travel to and from the three dyke, residents usually use motorized boats and speedboats.

4. Jimbaran Beach, Bali

Jimbaran is a village consisting of 12 traditional banjars and 1 official banjar in the South Kuta District, Badung Regency, Bali. Jimbaran is known for its beaches, and can be reached in about 10 minutes from Ngurah Rai International Airport. In Jimbaran, there are the first seafood restaurants in south Bali, which are located in the traditional village of Jimbaran (seafood) as well as international hotels. Jimbaran was once a fishing and agricultural village where the local people mostly worked from natural products but now it is only 35% of tourism, while the rest is out, beach tourism in the Jimbaran area.

5. Pok Tunggal Beach

INDONEWTRAVEL.COM
Pok Tunggal Beach is located in the Gunungkidul area, Yogyakarta. The location is not far from Sundak Beach and Indrianti Beach. But even though the distance is close, this beach is still relatively quiet because it was only opened to the public in 2012.

The road that is still damaged and a bit far may be an obstacle for people who want to go to this beach. But if you can pass these streets, it all pays off with the beauty of Pok Tunggal Beach.
