We love the ambience here, which is a mix of contemporary mountain lodge chic with some seriously fun, retro 1960s flair.

There are six categories of rooms and suites to choose from. And while accommodations vary in size, all have awesome mountain views from big windows.

If you are traveling with kids, the classic queen guest rooms can sleep up to four, with two beds. For more space, consider the mountain front suite. At 1,110-square-feet, it is roomy, and the living space is quite large. Kids can sleep on the sofa bed and have their own half bath. The furnished private terrace has great views.

If your family includes a pet, dogs under 35 pounds are welcome. There is a $150 fee, and only one dog per room is allowed.

Amenities at the Viewline include a few dining choices, including Stark's Alpine Grill, which does modern, slightly eclectic steakhouse cuisine.

You'll also find the excellent Lupine Spa offering a full range of treatments. The heated outdoor swimming pool and hot tubs are great for relaxing after a day playing on the mountain.
