It's difficult to find a bad time to visit beach resorts in Mexico. The country is absolutely massive, with many different landscapes, climates, and micro-climates. With two coasts — one on the Atlantic and one on the Pacific — the best time to visit Mexico varies by destination and time of year.

If you're headed to a beach resort in Mexico, the best time to visit is during the months of November, December, January, February, and March. These are the driest months across the country, which means sunny and warm days and cooler nights. This is the peak season for beach destinations, so expect hotels to be more expensive and crowded.

Spring is a wonderful time to visit Mexico, as well. The months of April and May are still warm and dry, but the crowds thin out and hotel prices tend to come down. However, Spring Break is an incredibly busy time in many of Mexico's beach destinations, so the weeks around Easter tend to have more crowds and higher prices.

Mexico's beach destinations start to get hot and rainy in the summer months, starting from June and continuing through July, August, September, and October. All across the country, Mexico experiences a higher volume of rain during these months. Temperatures can be very hot and humid in the coastal regions, as well. Hurricane season in Mexico ends in early or mid-November.
