8 Top-Rated Resorts in Tobago

One of the two islands that make up the Caribbean nation of Trinidad and Tobago, Tobago is famous for its beaches. Both Trini citizens and tourists come here to soak up the sunshine and relax at the resorts.

Although you won't find any true 5-star properties or any all-inclusive mega resorts, you will find some fantastic old-world glamorous boutique resorts and smaller properties with all-inclusive packages. Whether you are on a romantic vacation, with a group of friends, or on a family holiday, you'll find a resort to meet your needs.

Tobago is a small island, and it's easy to get around. The island's largest city is Scarborough. The ferry terminal is located here. Just a few kilometers from Scarborough is Bacolet Bay, home to some of the best resorts in Tobago, as well as a gorgeous beach.

Bacolet Bay also served as a film location for the 1926 Robinson Crusoe movie and Swiss Family Robinson in 1960. Tobago's airport is in Crown Point, about a 25-minute drive from Bacolet Bay.
